What do you know about your local community?  How could it be made even better? 

Develop a project (SIA) that could help the local community?  It can be anything that makes a difference. Will it just be your Patrol or the whole Unit participating or even invite the community along to be part of the project.

DO>

Make the project happen.  Get help from your Leaders, other members of your Patrol/Unit to get involved.  Send out invitations or promote via social media to get the word out there.

Visit other communities and see what innovative and sustainable projects are going on there.

Get the local politicians involved.

REVIEW>

Did the project achieve its goals and make a contribution to your local community?  Was it fun, challenging, adventurous and inclusive?  Did it involve the community and did they take an active part in the project.
