Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

Not all about Physical Exercise.
PLAN>
Think about what a 'healthy lifestyle' means to your Scouts
How do you know if you are healthy or unhealthy?
Is being healthy all about exercise of the body or mind or both?
What sorts of things do you do to be healthy?
PLAN>DO>REVIEW> with your Patrol.
Maybe do a fitness night at Scouts or have a go at the 'Beep Test'
Have an instructor come to the hall/den and teach yoga or meditation.
Are you 'mentally fit'. How did everyone go at the 'Beep Test;'? Did you support each other?
Feeling good on the inside mentally and physically go together so get the balance right and have fun!

Cub Scout -Falcom Patrol
The Falcons encouraged all Patrols to live a healthy lifestyle by involving them in exercise following a short warm up. Exercises included skipping, star jumps, a game of indoor soccer (many to a side) and learning some Karate moves.
